Twelve Thai women sought legal advice after discovering that the same man they had met online and had a separate sex relationship with was married.

A 60-year-old married man known as Pu is reported to have been created eight Facebook accounts, four Instagram accounts and three Line accounts to solicit women for sex.

Pu, who allegedly targeted single mothers, spoke to women in Thailand who were managing directors of a Japanese company.

His betrayal came to light when one of the women, Noo Ya, 56, revealed on Facebook how she ended their relationship after Pu posted about them on social media. She claimed that Pu told her that he had divorced his wife eight years ago and that he wanted to have a serious relationship with her. Ya said that their relationship went well in the beginning, but Pu had always wanted to keep their relationship a secret.

Apparently, the Facebook post caught the attention of other women in their 40s and 60s who knew Pu and had similar experiences. Either.

The 12 victims, who did not know each other before, met with Thai lawyer Ratchapon Sirisakhon in the central province of Nonthaburi on July 17. According to Sirisako, the women sought legal advice because they were afraid of being sued by Pu’s wife. Thai law allows a man’s first legal wife to sue those who had an affair with her husband, as long as they were not “tricked” into the relationship, The Thaiger.

Thailand has reportedly had mistresses sued for between 500,000 baht (about $13,645) and 5,000,000 baht (about $136,453) in the past.

Ya said he wanted to apologize to Pu’s wife for how she and the other women became his mistresses without knowing about the man’s existing marriage.

The lawyer advised the women file separate complaints against the police Pu.
