Billionaire businessman Elon Musk’s father claimed that he gave birth to a second unplanned child with his stepdaughter. Errol Musk, 76, also said he felt the only reason he was on Earth was to reproduce.
The US Sun newspaper said Errol had a child with his 35-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout 3 years ago. He told the newspaper that Errol and Bezuidenhout gave birth to a baby girl named Elliot Rush, nicknamed Rushie, in 2018 and that the pair had been living together for a while.
Engineer-turned-businessman Errol Musk has been married to Jana’s mother, Heide, for nearly two decades and has two biological children with her, the report said.
Errol said that although he had not tested the child’s DNA, it was “very clear” that he was his child because he looked exactly like his two other daughters, Rose and Tosca.
“The only thing we’re on earth for is reproduction,” she said in the interview, adding: “If I had another child, I would. I see no reason not to.”
But she added that even though she missed the baby, it was also difficult. “I mean, I’d rather have them here. But Jana arrived about six months ago and spent a few days here. And the children started to get on my nerves. Then I miss them as soon as they leave,” he said.
He added that his other daughters were “shocked” by his relationship with his stepdaughter and found it terrifying. “And they still don’t like it. They still feel a little creepy about it because she’s their sister. Their half-sister,” he said in an interview.
Elon has not yet responded to these reports. In the 2015 book Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Futureauthor Ashlee Vance wrote that Elon’s family “gets along with him [Errol] he is not a nice person,” they seemed determined not to say a bad word to him.
“It would certainly be fair to say I didn’t have a good childhood,” Elon told the author. “It might sound good. There was no good, but it was not a happy childhood. It was like misfortune. He’s a master at making life miserable—that’s for sure. No matter how good he is, he can take any situation and make it bad. He is not a happy person,” he said.
He added that he and his then-wife Justine Wilson had vowed not to allow their children to see Errol.
In early July, 51-year-old Elon Musk announced in a court document that in 2021, Shivon Zilis, the 36-year-old top manager of Neuralink, a brain chip startup, had twins. In total, Musk has 9 children — Two with Canadian singer Grimesand five with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine.
