Two months ago, Samsung has released One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy S22 first time. Since then, the South Korean firm has released three more beta updates with feature additions and bug fixes. We reported on this yesterday Samsung may release the fifth and final version of the One UI 5.0 beta update to the Galaxy S22 series, and the company has done just that.
The fifth One UI 5.0 beta update has been released Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+and Galaxy S22 Ultra in China. The firmware version of the new update is out ZVJA and has a download size of 471.16MB (for Galaxy S22 Ultra).

Samsung’s official changelog claims that the company has fixed various bugs, including one that forced the Galaxy Watch plugin to close, caused the camera autofocus to malfunction and degraded image quality, and rebooted the phone.
The new app also fixes an issue that prevented users from adding fingerprints. Some people have also complained about the phone’s lack of unlocking sound, and Samsung has fixed that issue with the latest update. Other issues include loud volume even after the call volume is turned down, incomplete wallpaper, no Close All option in the multitasking menu, and force-closing the app when editing photos. Those issues have been resolved.
It said that Samsung removed it Bixby Text Call feature from the new One UI 5.0 beta update. Bixby was a Text Call feature announced last weekuse it HERE to convert the voice (in a call) to text and display it on the screen. Users can then type a text in response to the caller and bixby will convert that text to audio and pass it on to the person on the other end of the call. Thus, the user does not have to speak or listen to communicate with the voice call.
Reports also claim new beta version One UI 5.0 brings smoother animations. As you can see, the frame drops are reduced and the animations are similar Galaxy Z Flip 4 escape One UI 4.1.1.
